How to Draw a Swan
1. Start at point one. Follow around to point 2 (next step).
2. Continue drawing from point 2, as per the diagram, towards point 3. The hardest part is to stop drawing the helix at point 2 and to start drawing the tail section; you must change direction to do this.
3. Draw down to point 3 from the tail. Surround the drawing you have already completed using an outside parallel line.
4. Move upwards. At point 4, we change direction again. Draw up towards the head of the swan.
5. Create a curve to point 5. Lift your pencil up - the body is done. Go back and draw the beak.
6. The eye is optional. It does make a nice touch, however.
