I have tried using IDM but it can't 'grab' the videos form 4oD
www.channel4.com/programmes/4odbut you probably need a Url catcher to see what the Url of the video is, then a stream catcher recorder software to record it with.

I think they'll be hard to do these days, it was possible at one time, it was the same with BBC IPlayer but there always finding fixes for it, i cant complain with them services as i get to choose what i want to watch (with the adverts) without sitting in front of a TV watching stuff i do, 4OD do have a youtube page though with programs on, you could try that with various ripping softwares, hope this helps
