The Witcher 2 Graphics and Requirments

I have a GT 520M at 1 GB, a 4 GB RAM and a core i5-2410M at 2.3 Ghz, but it boosts to 2.9.

Now i know if u never tried this card before and just read the reviews about it you'd think it's a ~love~ card, i thought so when i bought it and never had gaming in mind. but believe it or not, it can run assassin's creed 1 and Mafia 2 on highest settings at 1366x768, i can run Crysis 2 at advanced which is medium in the Crysis world, as well as GTA IV on medium but i turn the resolution on to the max.

Now the question is, at what settings exactly would i be able to play the witcher 2, and would it look god or would it be ~love~ and not worth the time downloading it?

It is a terrible card for gaming. you have a low resolution though and don't need as much graphic card grunt to game at such a low res.
Saying that i doubt it performs well and you would see a huge difference if you had more GPU power.

As for the witcher. you will likely need to reduce most the settings to get a decent frame rate.
It's a excellent game and you don't want to miss out so go ahead and download.

Upgrade that GPU and get a better screen with a higher resolution when you can afford it (i assume you are using a tv). it will make heaps of difference to your gaming.

The screen is something you use every single second you are using your PC. so it's well worth bumping cash into to get a good screen.

Generally the sweet spot for value vs quality etc right now would be a 24" screen with a 1920 x 1080. do a bit of research at the time when you are actually buying to see what's best.
