Forcing DNS changes for DHCP on Server 2012

I would like to force some scope to use a different dns. Is it possible to change the DNS for certain scopes?

You should be able to set DHCP options per scope in Windows Server 2012, including the DNS option, so it applies to only the clients that get an IP from that specific scope.

To achieve this, Go to the DHCP Console, Click on the scope you want to assign the specific DNS Server to, then select Scope Options, then select "Configure Options" from the "More Actions" right hand pane, then select 006 DNS Server and then in there put the server name of the DNS server along with this IP address!

Well spravtek your comment didnt give the author the answer he needed nor did it explain how to carry it out like my answer did.

Moderator will reject your request to have the points overturned as my comment was a true solution.

Maybe, I still believe in dialogue, people come here to learn, so giving the solution without going into dialogue beats the purpose of a site like this, for me it's about teaching people to think for themselves, dig deeper ... But hey, to each his own thought right.

And it's not only this question, there are many examples where people just go of another expert's initial answer and start posting same "solutions" but just different wording ... But again, that's my opinion, I won't go hijacking this thread any further.

Maybe I'm just tired of people expecting answers without doing their own investigating and then abandoning threads ...
