How to logon to a Windows 8.1 PC without automatically logging into the Microsoft Live email account?

Hello:
I recently purchased my parents a Windows 8.1 PC. My father already had a Windows Live email /Hotmail account. That is what I used to allow him to logon to the Windows 8.1 Operating System.

After setting him up with all of his icons and bookmarks and language settings. He tells me that that he does not want to have his Windows Live email account, logon automatically when he browses to the Hotmail/Live web logon page.

Is there a way to have a user logon to a Windows 8.1 PC with a live/Microsoft username/email address and not have Internet explorer automatically logon that account into the web interface? My father does not like the security flaw here and is wondering if there is a way to make Internet Explorer prompt him for credentials to the email system.

Yes. Go to PC Settings (Metro Icon), Change PC Settings, User Accounts and change the email account to a local account. I did that right away in Windows 8.1 and my local account works fine.

Go to the Start Screen > start typing in "Your" > in the search results on the right pane click on Your account settings > in the Your Account screen click on Disconnect underneath your Microsoft Live ID and email address > you will then be prompted to type in the password for your Microsoft account > the next screen will then prompt you to set up a new local account

Once done, you will be prompted to sign out then sign back in with your new local account. The existing apps should still be there, you will just be prompted to sign in to your Microsoft account when you launch them (which I believe is just the thing you want).

If you go back to the Your Account screen, you should see a Connect to your Microsoft account link.

you can add local account and logon with this..
anyway you can logon with microsoft mail although you offline
