Windows 2008 Member Server Compatibility with Windows 2003 Domain Controller

All of our domain controllers are Windows 2003 Server SP2 (32-bit).
Can a member server running Windows 2008 SP2 (32-bit) join the active directory domain. Are there any known issues with this configuration?

Yes it can.

Can definitely join the domain as a member server with no problems. The only thing you'll see if you will not have some of the group policy schemas to apply to the new 2008 technologies but that's not typically a hindrance.

Is there a microsoft documentation reference that you can point to?
