Searching for Files in a particular folder - Windows 7 64-bit operating system

Hi

I would like to know the quickest way to search for files in a particular folder.

I have tried google desktop but I find it a challenge to look into a particular folder, since it returns a search representing the results for the whole system.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I personally would do it in a Command prompt.

Type:-

CD
DIR /a /s /p

/a tells the DIR command to return ALL files including hidden and system files
/s tells the DIR command to include subfolders
/p tells the DIR command to pause after each screen full

Windows 7 has built-in support to your requirement of searching for files in a specific folder and sub-folders. simply type the keywords in the Search box on the top of a Windows Explorer window. for details, see below the MS document.
