Domain controller DNS question

I Have two domain controllers xxx.xxx.xxx.1, xxx.xxx.xxx.2 and a gateway router xxx.xxx.xxx.3

What should be in the network ethernet settings for each DC?

xxx.xxx.xxx.1 xxx.xxx.xxx.1 and xxx.xxx.xxx.2 or xxx.xxx.xxx.1 and xxx.xxx.xxx.3
xxx.xxx.xxx.2 xxx.xxx.xxx.2 and xxx.xxx.xxx.1 or xxx.xxx.xxx.2 and xxx.xxx.xxx.3

If you mean DNS it should be 1 and 2 and 2 and 1. Domain Controllers only really need to point to themselves but it doesn't hut to point to the other domain controller.

Leave the Gateway address out of DNS

What about network users computers? Should they have 1 & 2 for DNS or 1 & 3 so they can pick up internet DNS? How does a workstation translate google.com into 74.125.196.102

1 & 2. Set up the DNS server properties and set the forwarders to your ISP's DNS servers. So when they use the DNS server they can resolve local domain resources and for anything on the internet your DNS server will forward the request to your ISP DNS servers.

Just a note by default your DNS servers will find some root DNS server to forward to if you do not specify a forwarder. So you don't HAVE to put your ISP DNS just recommended.
