How to install AD Management Tools in Win 8

Hello,
I am setting up a windows 8 machine and need to install the AD Tools to manage Server 2008 Domain Controllers ?
But, i am kind of lost
I downloaded this file Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64.msu but it pops up a window "Windows Update Standalone Installer The Update is not applicable to your computer"

Thoughts?

the link above is for windows 8; there is a separate download for 8.1

Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 8.1
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=39296

the download is Windows8.1-KB2693643-x64.msu not Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64.msu

Download and install RSAT

There is an x86 and an x64 version, you should choose the correct one but your Windows version.

How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or 64-bit version of the Windows operating system. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827218

I did that Walter but i have that issue i mentioned. Thanks

In some other sites suggest to do this

Extract the package files
expand -f:* "Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64.msu" D:RSAT

and then run
pkgmgr /ip /m:D:RSATWindows6.2-KB2693643-x64.cab

Are you using at least Windows 8.x Pro? You can't install any AD stuff on the core versions of Windows 8.x (not can you join it to an AD domain).

@rindi: my version is Windows 8. Version 6.3 Build 9600 and i think it is Windows 8.1 Pro
@Walter: Executed the commands and .....now what.....

thanks for your help
