How make clone image bootable ?

Hi,

Is possible to make clone image bootable ?

Thanks

What software are you using to create the clone, and you normally cannot boot the image since it is in a format that there is no boot loader for. You also don't say which operating system. (Details are important).

You have included Apple and Microsoft.. Apple requires that the operating system be installed and run on Apple hardware ONLY.

What you can do is use virtualization software i.e. hyper-v, vmware workstation/player, virtualbox and then copy the image to the virtual hard drive.

I us paragon software to make clone of windows 7 .

and can i put boot loader on clone image to make a bootable dvd of usb ?

boot into what? paragon to restore the image? or boot the operating system? Booting the operating system from the image would be impossible.

Definitely need a little clarification.
When you say Clone Image, you are really talking about 2 different things.

A W7 Clone should be bootable, as long you also did the Hidden Boot Partition.

A W7 Image is not bootable, as already said. It has to be Restored to a drive. And you still need the Hidden Boot Partition, with it.

If you are wanting to make a W7 boot dvd from a W7 boot usb try this:
1 Install ImgBurn. It is free, you can find on google
2 Plug the bootable stick into the computer
3 Start ImgBurn
4 Now click on the "Create image file from files / folders"
5 Now in the "Sources" browse to your USB stick
6 in the "Destination" choose where to save the final ISO image
7 Now go right in the "Advanced" tab and then "Bootable Disk"
8 Check the box "Make Bootable Image" and then, in the "Boot image" box browse to file "etfsboot.com" that is in your bootable stick found in the folder "boot"
9 In the field "Developer ID" put "Microsoft Corporation" and enter "07C0" in the "Load Segment" field
10 Enter '4' in the 'Sectors To Load' field if your etfsboot.com file is 2K is size, enter '8' if it's 4K. (Basically it's the size of the file in bytes divided by 512 - i.e. 2048 / 512 = 4)
